About Century Glass
Founded in 1992, Century Glass has been providing glass repair services for 31 years. Will my insurance cover a broken driver or passenger window?
Generally, comprehensive insurance plans cover broken side window glass replacements, while liability and collision plans typically do not cover the repair. If you aren’t sure or would like help filing your insurance claim, our knowledgeable and experienced customer service agents are here to help!
Aren’t all auto glass replacements OEM or OE-quality?
No. It is common for broken windows to be replaced with aftermarket replacements. Aftermarket windows are not necessarily lower quality products, but it is often the case that these are inferior parts that do not offer the same strength or sound isolation as OEM and OE-quality parts.
Are OE-quality parts really the same as OEM?
Yes. OE-quality parts are generally manufactured at the same facility using the same production line. The only difference is that OEM parts generally include a vehicle brand decal – but otherwise the parts are identical.
Will you replace my window tint when you replace my window?
No, we are only able to offer replacement services and do not apply window tints. After we have completed your repair, you will need to coordinate with your tint provider.
Are you able to cover my broken window with something if replacement glass needs to be ordered?
In the event that your replacement glass is delayed in getting to us we will apply a plastic film known as ‘Crash Wrap’ to keep the elements out while the part is in transit. This temporary repair film will provide several weeks of weather and water protection and can be safely removed without damaging your paint or trim pieces.
For repairs covered by insurance this service is included.
