How long do windshield glass repairs last?
A windshield repair will generally last as long as the windshield! Century Glass will guarentee the repair for as long as your own your car. If the original damage spreads after our repair, we will deduct the price paid for the repair from the cost of the new windshield. Unless the windshield is damaged by another impact, the repair is permanent and should never need replacing.
Why would I choose a windshield repair over a windshield replacement?
Windshield repairs are faster and less expensive than full window replacements and provide a permanent repair solution for minor damage. Another benefit of windshield repairs is that modern vehicles require the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to be recalibrated after installing a new windshield. This process can be time consuming and is relatively expensive so generally it is best to avoid needing to perform it.
Will I be able to notice the window repair?
If you look closely you may be able to notice the repair. For this reason, we recommend only choosing windshield repair for chips and cracks which are outside of the driver’s line of sight.
My insurance company recommended a different windshield repair company, do I have to use them?

Can you repair small cracks or chips in rear windshields?
Most side and rear glass windows are not repairable as they are tempered and break into a thousand pieces. If your glass happens to be laminated (like your windshield), then we have the option to attempt a repair.
