Is windshield repair or replacement free in South Carolina?
If you have a comprehensive automobile insurance policy in the state of South Carolina, your insurance company is required to waive your deductible for an auto glass claim. According to the South Carolina Department of Insurance, they also cannot charge you a deductible for a windshield repair or replacement on your personal vehicle.
What do I need to do to file a windshield claim with my insurance company?
Have your vehicle information (make, model, VIN) and your insurance information (agency, policy number, and agent if applicable) ready, and either submit an insurance claim form on our website, or give us a call. One of our staff will get all the information we need, and we’ll handle everything on the insurance side on your behalf.
Should I get my windshield repaired or replaced? How big of a crack in the glass can you repair?

How does windshield chip repair work? Is it safe?
Polymer resin is injected into the crack or chip and cured. Generally you won’t notice where the repair took place, and they’ll last the entirety of the life of your windshield.

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and generally refers to technology in newer cars like adaptive cruise control, adaptive braking , forward collision warning systems, lane departure warnings, newer traction control systems and high beam safety systems.
